Amakashi-no-Oka Observatory
This low hill has an elevation of 148 meters. During spring, it is covered with cherry blossoms, and visitors can enjoy views of the three great mountains of Yamato, the village of Asuka, and the Nara Plain in the distance.

Kawahara Observatory
Marked with a copper plate engraved with the words “Views of Yamato” and embedded in the area’s natural rock, the observatory is designed so that visitors can learn the names of the mountains and historic sites found in panoramic views in all directions.
